Hello, I'm Amir...

and I'm from Iran. I am currently working as an environmental engineer in Germany, Bavaria. I came to Germany for my studies. My 2018 hitchhiking trip to Baluchistan was my "farewell" to Iran.

I feel connected to Bavaria and wish to hold my Iranian identity: I would like to use my opportunities now and help the children in Baluchistan.

I knew nothing about the extreme poverty there until my trip. I lived with the people in their everyday lives.

I experienced friendliness everywhere, although the least was missing: I played football with children without shoes.

... and I'm Julia,

I'm really excited that Amir runs the project now in Baluchistan.

Mainly because we will give your gifts to children and share joy.

Baluchistan is foreign to me, but I know that

there are similarities everywhere.

What a great opportunity to discover them.

At the same time, questions about the community of Baluch people are already coming up - which brings me to the heart of my profession:

I am a sociologist.
